Pop-Up Performance Festival

organized by Victoria & Albert Museum

April 29 – May 3, 2019

London, UK

The V&A hosted a series of pop up performances and events across the museum as part of the museum’s Performance Festival. Open to artists and designers from diverse disciplines and at any stage of their careers, the festival explored the themes of art as an agent of international engagement while complimenting the V&A's rich program of cultural awareness events, such as Refugee Week. It brought together performance design students, scholars, and practitioners from across Europe and beyond in order to make a tangible contribution to transnational mobility and enrich the program’s ongoing exploration of the relationship between performance design and identity.
